Your Path to Mental Wellness
As busy individuals we tend to isolate or fall into unhealthy patterns as time goes by without realizing the last time we talked to another person. Counseling helps individuals reconnect as well as have a better understanding of their own mental health. Through counseling individuals recognize their body and and mind cues while experiencing events, isolation, and even large emotions. Emotions are normal and they come in waves of being heavy and light. Through therapy an individual learns it is okay to express ones needs.
Heather Trempe, MS, NCC, CAMS-II, LCMHC created Positive Pathways Behavioral Health in June 2023 and has worked with teens and adults in the mental health and addiction field since 2016. Approaches utilized include Mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Motivational Interviewing. Heather is Certified in Anger Management and able to provide assessments as well as counseling for court ordered individuals.
