As busy individuals we tend to isolate or fall into unhealthy patterns as time goes by without realizing the last time we talked to another person. Counseling helps individuals reconnect as well as have a better understanding of their own mental health. Through counseling I help individuals recognize their body and and mind cues when experiencing events, isolation, and even large emotions. Emotions are normal and they come in waves of being heavy and light. It is okay to feel and to express one’s needs. As a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) I am also able to diagnose and provide therapy. I encourage anyone seeking support to reach out, it can all start with one phone call. I have worked with teens and adults in the mental health and addiction field since 2016. Utilizing mindfulness, CBT, and motivational interviewing to support people where they are at currently. I am Certified in Anger Management, able to provide assessments as well as counseling for court ordered individuals.This course helps the individual recognize anger as an emotion and how to navigate it.
